She's rubbing off on him.......

Little Miss Adventure is now sleeping on the floor.  Napping.  Whoo hoo, that usually means some down time for Mom.  Today Mr Bean is wanting to play superhero's though we played for over an hour once we got home from preschool.  Mom just want's to check her e-mail so she tell's him to play quietly for a bit till she is done.  After I hear him upstairs, I actually listen and hear water sloshing around.  I look up the stairs and the light is on hin the main bathroom.  The kid's bathroom.  I call up to ask what he is doing and he tells me "I'm playing baptize my toys.....".  I am not sure what that means so I head up.  Lined up around the sink are about 20 toys of his and the sink is full of water and his new Iron Man car is floating upside down in the water.  I glance at the toys and right in the middle of the sink is his new Kung Zu pet that he just got for Christmas.  I pick it up and it is soaking, sopping wet.  I start trying to wring,squeeze etc to get as much water out of it that I can.  It, obviously, is no longer working.  I tell him that he cannot get any more toys to baptize and that he should never baptize, or get wet, a toy that makes noise or moves on its own as it will probably no longer do that once it gets wet. 
I hope the Kung Zu pet will start working again once it dries out but I do not think it will survive the water.  Poor Kung Zu pet, may he RIP.  This is what he used to look like.....
I would expect little Miss Adventure to do this, not her 5 year old brother...........

Star Wars!!!!!

I just was going to update (after a couple of years!) the blog, when Mr Bean comes up and tells me that we HAVE to play Star Wars. Even little Miss Adventure has gotten into the act and comes up with a backpack on and yielding one of her brother's lightsabers. What does Mom get? A beach ball. Not sure how this is supposed to help me fight of the 2 Jedi but off we go into Star Wars Land! Oh the fun of it!
